David “Grandaddy” Bradley went home to be with Jesus on November 25, 2022, at the age of 68, after fighting a valiant battle with kidney disease.
David was soft-spoken, quiet with a witty sense of humor. He loved playing jokes on his family and friends and there will surely be a great void. David grew up in Minden and remained here throughout his life. He enjoyed all the hunting and fishing that this area offers. David was a wonderful family man that loved each and every one, and they dearly loved him.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Ray and Amos Jackson Bradley.
David is survived by is wife of 49 years, Janna Bradley; three daughters, Angela Curry and husband Chris, Mandy Kirkham, and Melissa Bradley; seven grandchildren, Celeste Reeves and husband Tristan, MaKenzie Curry and fiancé, Julio Barrera, Samantha Easter, Madison Curry, David Kirkham, Luis Wilson, and Abigail Humphries; great-grandchildren, Henry Cox and Adilynn Reeves; brothers, Robert Bradley and wife Donna and John Bradley and wife Jody; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Bradley, Blaine Bradley, Terry Cox, Jon Kirkham, Mickey Harmon, and Stan Haney.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Steve Gilley officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
