Dr. Magdy Hanna to speak at Lions Club on January 18

Guest speaker for Thursday’s noon meeting of the Minden Lions Club will be Dr. Magdy Hanna, interventional cardiologist with Minden Medical Center.

Dr. Hanna attended medical school at Ross School of Medicine, then completed his internal residency at St. John in Detroit. This was followed by a cardiovascular fellowship at LSU Shreveport and an interventional cardiology fellowship at Ascension St. John in Detroit in 2021. After two years of successful practice in Alexandria, La., he joined Minden Medical Center in September of 2023.

The Minden Lions Club meets Thursdays at noon at the American Legion Memorial Hall, located at 119 W. Pine St. in downtown Minden.
