Minden swept North DeSoto in District 1-4A games Tuesday night at Minden.
The Crimson Tide won 75-38 and the Lady Tiders won 61-53.
The Crimson Tide is still in the hunt for a possible share of the district championship.
Huntington (18-11, 5-1), which defeated Evangel Christian 42-34 Tuesday, leads the district. The Raiders have one district game left Friday at Bossier.
Minden (13-7, 3-2), Bossier (18-11, 4-2) and Evangel Christian (16-8, 3-2) all have two distinct losses.
Minden visits Northwood (13-11, 2-3) Friday and closes the regular season Feb. 13 against Woodlawn (16-14, 2-3) at home.
Maurice Rabb led Minden players who scored with 18 points. Cameron Parker and Carmelo Smith scored 13 each.
The Tide led 19-14 after the first quarter then outscored the Griffins 17-1 in the second.
North DeSoto dropped to 7-10 and 0-6.
Kierra Harrison led the Lady Tiders with 22 points and 17 rebounds.
Brooklyn Jefferson had 14 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Travesti Byrd had 11 points and five assists.
Minden (13-10, 4-2) closes the regular season at Northwood Friday. According to GeauxPreps.com, the Lady Tiders are No. 18 in the non-select Division II power rankings. They will likely be on the road in the first round of the playoffs.
Elsewhere, Doyline edged Castor 56-55 in a District 1-B boys game at Doyline, avenging its only district loss.
The Panthers overcame a 7-point deficit in the final 4:33, outscoring the Tigers 9-1 over that stretch. They got within 54-52 on a layup by Broox Swain off a pass from Damarion McLendon with 2:43 left.
Keidric Clark tied it on a layup with 2:32 left after a trap at halfcourt near the sideline forced a turnover.
Swain drove the baseline and scored with 1:25 left to give the Panthers a 56-54 lead. Both teams had opportunities but couldn’t convert over the next minute.
The Panthers committed a turnover with 11.9 seconds left.
Castor had a chance to tie after a Doyline foul on a drive to the basket with 0.3 seconds left.
The first free throw was good. After a timeout, the second one hit the front of the rim, the backboard and the front of the rim again but didn’t go in.
Doyline improved to 21-3 overall and 4-1 in district. The Panthers visit Quitman (21-7, 4-1) Thursday with the district championship on the line.
