Bossier Sheriff’s detectives have apprehended a Webster Parish man in connection with the First Degree Rape of a victim under the age of 13. Lance Kelly Soles, 41, hailing from Doyline, was taken into custody on February 12th following an extensive investigation that commenced in August of 2023.
The arrest stems from an incident dating back to 2018, with details emerging during an interview conducted by the juvenile victim at the Gingerbread House. The appalling occurrence took place at a residence located in Haughton subsequent to Soles’ release from the Bossier Maximum-Security Facility, where he was registered as a sex offender.
Upon gathering evidence and securing a warrant for Soles’ arrest, detectives promptly executed the warrant. Soles was subsequently booked into the Bossier Maximum Facility, facing one count of First-Degree Rape of a Victim Under 13. His bond has been set at $1 million.
