High school boys basketball: Mingo’s nine 3-pointers help Doyline rout Georgetown in regular-season finale

The Doyline Panthers closed the regular season with an 85-46 rout of Georgetown Friday night at Doyline.

According to GeauxPreps.com, Doyline (23-3) is No. 5 in the non-select Division V power ratings.

The No. 5-16 team in the final ratings host first-round playoff games.

Official pairings will be announced by the LHSAA Monday.

Cayden Mingo knocked down nine 3-pointers and led the Panthers with 35 points. He hit six in the second half, including four in the third quarter,

Damarion McLendon scored 16 points. Keidric Clark added 13 and Jay Patterson 11.

Broox Swain chipped in seven.
