High school softball: Minden routs Huntington in 1-4A game

The Minden Lady Tiders defeated Huntington 18-0 in thee innings in a District 1-4A game Wednesday at Minden.

Elsewhere, North Webster fell to Caddo Magnet 7-6 in Springhill.

At Minden, Kylie Ryan had a triple and double. Kaydree Kemp went 2-for-2 with a triple.

Gracie Sparks had a double. The Lady Tiders took advantage of seven walks, four hit-by-pitches and numerous errors.

Lindsay Ryan and Sparks combined on a one-hitter.

Minden improved to 7-7.

At North Webster, Anekah Coleman went 3-for-4 with a double. Anna Ray went 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI. 

Kendall Temple went 2-for-3. Adryana White had a double.

North Webster dropped to 4-4.
