At the March 7 meeting of the noon Lions Club, the Minden Lions Club generously presented Neal Stapleton, Yatasi District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America, with a donation of $500. This contribution will directly benefit the Boy Scouts of America NORWELA Council, supporting their ongoing efforts in the region.
The Yatasi District, which covers Webster, Bossier, Claiborne, and Bienville parishes, currently boasts approximately 1,400 scouts. This donation will undoubtedly help sustain and enhance the scouting experience for these young individuals.
