The Lakeside Lady Warriors and Doyline Lady Panthers were winners Tuesday.
Lakeside defeated Northwood 7-0 at home, and Doyline edged Byrd 18-17 in Shreveport.
Elsewhere, Glenbrook fell to Captain Shreve 17-8 in Shreveport.
At Lakeside, Hallie Sutton pitched a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts and two walks.
Mackenzie McCoy went 3-for-4 with a double.
Lakeside (12-16) is scheduled to host Bossier in a doubleheader Thursday at 4.
At Byrd, Doyline led 12-7 after four innings. The Lady Jackets took the lead with seven in the bottom of the fifth.
The Lady Panthers regained the lead with three in the top of the sixth then added three more in the seventh. They held off a Byrd rally in the bottom of the seventh.
Arianna Crump and Karmadie Bartlett had three hits each. Bartlett had two doubles and two RBI.
Lanie Gates had two hits and three RBI. Keily Sumlin had two hits, including a double. Hannah Dryden went 2-for-3.
Doyline (13-7) has won six in a row.
At Captain Shreve, Glenbrook scored four runs in the top of the sixth to tie the game at 8. But the Lady Gators answered with nine in the bottom of the inning.
Seven Lady Apaches combined for nine hits. Gabi Brown went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
Anna Grace Vining went 2-for-3. Ellie Earnhardt had a triple. Vivian Still had a double. Chloe Gregg had three RBI.
Glenbrook (14-13) visits Haynesville Wednesday at 4 in a game that will decide the District 1-1A championship. Captain Shreve improved to 17-9.
