The Chrisman McDonald’s in Minden celebrated a remarkable milestone on May 7, dedicating the building to Beverly Manning for her 40 years of dedicated service.

The event, attended by Minden McDonald’s owner Charles Chrisman, Mayor Nick Cox, and numerous community leaders, was a heartfelt tribute to Manning’s four decades of commitment. Friends, family, fellow employees, and loyal customers also gathered to honor Manning, with the Minden High School band adding to the festivities with musical performances.

Mayor Cox presented Manning with a Proclamation from the City of Minden, recognizing her long-standing contribution to the community. “The City of Minden wishes to honor Beverly Manning for 40 years of service at McDonald’s,” Mayor Cox stated.

Ms. Manning began her journey with McDonald’s as a crew member in 1984, when she opened the first McDonald’s in Minden. Since then, she has risen through the ranks to become the general manager and supervisor, training nearly every employee who has worked at the store.

“We can’t express all she’s done for our community,” remarked Chrisman, highlighting Manning’s profound impact.

In recognition of her dedication, a plaque commemorating the dedication of the building will be mounted at McDonald’s, with Manning also receiving a personal plaque as a reminder of her commitment.
