The Piney Woods Jamboree is thrilled to announce a special performance by local singing sensation Dawn Glass at the Frank Anthony Community Activity Center on June 8.
Dawn Glass is no stranger to the spotlight, with a rich history of captivating audiences. While many today know her as a beloved figure at Minden Medical Center, her journey in entertainment has been extensive. She has graced prestigious stages such as the Grapevine Opry in Grapevine, Texas, and Nashville’s Centennial Park. She was also a featured performer at the Rainbow Room on Printer’s Alley in Nashville, rubbing shoulders with a virtual ‘who’s who’ of stars.
One of her notable collaborations was with Frank Page, the man credited with introducing Elvis Presley to the world. Page enlisted Dawn Glass for shows with KWKH’s Road Shows. She also had the honor of traveling and performing with The Lawrence Welk Show.
Dawn Glass’s musical legacy extends beyond the stage, with a catalog of professional albums including “He’ll Make a Way,” “Precious Memories,” and “Sunshine and Lollipops,” featuring the title track written by Ann Morton. She has collaborated on albums with Gene Wyatt and Bill White, and has released numerous singles.
