Webster Parish School Board recognizes Chequila Frazier

Chequila Frazier, a special education bus driver, was honored as the Webster Parish Employee of the Month during the school board’s November meeting. Kevin Thompson of Taylor and Sons presented the award, highlighting Ms. Frazier’s commitment to her role and the positive impact she has on students.

“Every month we celebrate the exemplary acts of those school employees who go above and beyond in their duties to serve others,” said Thompson.

Ms. Frazier’s nomination letter underscored her dedication and compassionate approach. It described her as a vital asset to the school system, setting a welcoming tone for students with her warm greetings each morning. Her unique ability to connect with students, especially those facing challenges, was noted as a key aspect of her role.

Beyond her regular duties, Ms. Frazier often provides transportation during non-traditional hours and is recognized for her organizational skills and proactive problem-solving. She is celebrated for her unwavering dedication and willingness to assist both students and colleagues.

“Ms. Frazier never hesitates to go above and beyond for her students and colleagues. Her contributions to our students and school system are truly exceptional, and she is more than worthy of this recognition,” read her nomination letter.
