Lunch or an early‑dinner stop at Under Dawgs Sports Grill on Saturday could help pay medical and care bills for dozens of animals rescued from an alleged puppy‑mill and hoarding operation uncovered near Doyline in March.
Under Dawgs, 605 Main St., will donate a share of every sale made from 11 AM to 4 PM during its Furry Friends Fundraiser to LaMa Animal Rescue, the nonprofit now sheltering the seized animals. Deputies said the dogs were found crated in cramped, filthy conditions; several needed immediate veterinary treatment.
Proceeds will go toward vaccinations, spay–neuter surgeries, feed and continuing medical care, LaMa volunteers said. The group is also arranging foster homes and eventual adoptions.
Those unable to attend may donate directly to LaMa at [email protected].
