The Minden Lions Club will host its semi‑annual Chicken Charbroil on Saturday, April 26, in the Walmart parking lot on Homer Road, with serving to begin about 9 AM and continuing until all plates are sold.
Plates cost $10 each and include the club’s signature charbroiled chicken lunch. Tickets may be purchased in advance from any Lions Club member or paid for at the site. Proceeds support the organization’s community service projects.
The Lions Club holds the fundraiser twice a year and routinely sells out before noon.
