The Minden Lions Club hosted its semi-annual Chicken Charbroil fundraiser on April 26, selling out of grilled chicken lunch plates by noon.
The event raised funds to support the club’s efforts to serve the local community through various humanitarian initiatives. The Minden Lions Club focuses on improving health, well-being, and community strength, as well as aiding those in need.
The club is currently seeking new members to join in its mission to uplift the Minden area. The Lions Club meets every Thursday at noon at the American Legion Memorial Hall, 119 W. Pine St. in downtown Minden.
