A car accident disrupted the flow of traffic through downtown Minden Friday morning. Just before 9 a.m., two vehicles collided on Broadway between Union and Dixie. When asked what had happened, an eye witness reported, “The black car hit the white one.” This witness said that the black car had crossed the line. Whether they were changing lanes and didn’t look carefully, or just allowed their car to drift into the other lane is unknown.
Minden police had the street blocked off until tow trucks could remove both vehicles from the scene. Once the tow trucks were gone, traffic quickly resumed as usual.
