The District IV pitching machine tournament began at the Minden Rec. Center over the weekend after being rained out on Thursday. The AAA all-star tournament also got underway with games being played in Farmerville. Here’s how our Minden all-stars fared.

Easton Sanders, Brody Bower and Seth Mangrum each had two base hits to lead the Continentals. Landyn Huddleston, Reagan Coyle, Brandon Davis and Zander Rowell all added base hits to help the Continentals to the win.

The Minden Nationals got big hits from Peyton Gray, Eli Campbell, Gavin Davis, Jekoye Knowles, Brayden West, Trevor Tharpe, Wyatt Whorton and Hayden Watkins to help defeat the Shreveport Continentals.

Seth Mangrum and Hunter Sutton doubled to lead the Continentals, followed by Landyn Huddleston with a pair of base hits. Reagan Coyle, Brody Bower, Brandon Davis, Jaxon Smith, Dawson Day, Zander Rowell and Hudson Brown all had hits for the Continentals.
Spencer Brantley had the only hit for the Nationals.
