The Minden Lion’s Club welcomed Ron Anderson as guest speaker during Thursday’s club meeting. Anderson is a public speaker, professional development facilitator, and executive director of Project Reclaim of Minden, a youth leadership institute focusing on developing positive leadership skills in at-risk youth, so they will demonstrate them in their homes, schools and in the community. Ron highlighted the success rate of Project Reclaim and how his organization has worked to keep our youth in school, out of jail, and contributing to the community. The Lions expressed their appreciation to Ron for helping to improve the lives of local youth. At the end of the program, Lions Club members gave Ron a standing ovation.
