“… In our weakness, He is made strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:10
After a lifetime of suffering, our little warrior, Benjamin David Milam was made perfect Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014.
Ben may not have been able to communicate, but he impacted each and every life that came in contact with him. If one ever had a care in the world, snuggle time with Ben was the most soothing therapy one could experience. We are so thrilled to know that all your pain and suffering will be experienced no more and you are running, jumping and hugging Jesus today.
Funeral services for Benjamin David Milam will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at First Baptist Church Minden with the Rev. Leland Crawford and the Rev. Wayne DuBose officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Benjamin was born July 11, 1999 in Shreveport and entered into rest Oct. 12, 2014, in Shreveport.
He was preceded in death by his two grandmothers, Dale Gloer Milam and Jeanne Koeppe Love and a host of great-grandparents that had the privilege of loving him on earth and welcoming him to heaven.
He is survived by his parents, Danny and Dee Milam Jr. of Minden; sister, Grace Milam of Minden; paternal grandparents, Danny and Judy Milam Sr. of Haynesville; fraternal grandparents, Bill and Sunny Love of Longview, Texas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Brian Jackson, Chad Still, Tracy Campbell, Norman Cone, Jon Zeagler and Bryan Poteet.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all his “mommas” and “grannies” from Alpha Nursing Service and Holy Angels that lovingly cared for Ben through the years.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Holy Angels, 10450 Ellerbe Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71106.
