Funeral services for Bernice M. Bryant will be at 11 a.m., Dec. 29, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Jeff Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday.
Bernice was born July 8, 1924 in Oak Grove and entered into rest Dec. 25, 2015 in Minden.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Parker Franks and Franklin Bryant, brothers R.L. Mixon, Charlie Mixon, Johnny Mixon, and Roy Mixon, sisters Bessie Faye Frasier and Lavern Jones.
She is survived by her sons John Franks of Minden, Jimmy Franks of Minden, Jerry Franks of Plain Dealing, Bobby Franks of Shreveport, daughter Elizabeth Franks of Shreveport, sister Jeannie Mims of Slidell, nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
