A free community book launch event for “Heartfelt Treasures” by Psalmist, poet, and author Evangelist Dorothy Hall-Ramey is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Minden branch of Webster Parish Libraries.
The event will take place at 8821 East and West Street and will feature poetry readings, singing, music, refreshments, and opportunities for relaxation and fellowship.
“Heartfelt Treasures” is described as a collection of romance- and faith-centered poetry grounded in biblical themes. According to the book’s listing, the third edition includes 55 poems from Hall-Ramey’s original work and is intended to “lift, encourage, and settle you in your spirit for the will and ways of God.”
The poems address healing, clarity, and guidance based on biblical principles, while also focusing on relationships, compassion, perseverance, and spiritual growth.
The author writes that the collection aims to rekindle faith and inspire readers through reflection on “the words, life, & character of God and his people,” adding that “the wisdom written here, can show that serving the Lord pays off.”
The event is open to the public at no cost.
