Bossier City Mayor Thomas Chandler Reminds Citizens: Texas Street Bridge Closed on the 4th of July

Mayor Chandler encourages Bossier residents that, as you make your plans and travel around on the 4^th of July, you remember that the Texas Street bridge will be closed. Due to the 4^th of July celebration and the annual fireworks display the bridge will be closed. In order to set up the fireworks display and provide total safety for our citizens you will need to use an alternative route if you had plans to utilize the bridge. The bridge will be closed throughout the day on Tuesday and is scheduled to reopen at midnight. Mayor Chandler said to all Bossier Citizens, “Celebrate Friends, Family and Freedom, Be Safe and Enjoy Your Holiday.”
