Ms. Harville was born Sept. 30, 1931, in Yazoo City, Mississippi. She married the love of her life June 5, 1950. They moved to Minden, in 1966 with their children where she spent her time as wife, mother, homemaker raising her children and also worked outside the home some of her years. Her life was centered on her family, friends and her church – letting her light shine for the Lord. She was a faithful member of First Assembly of God of Minden for 48 years. She is well known in Minden for her time spent working at the dental office of Dr. Williams. Always showing love and kindness to all she knew or met, always a smile and encouraging words to share. The word most used to describe this precious lady is SWEET. She enjoyed life, always ready to have a party.

She leaves behind with her family and friends so many precious memories of time spent with her. She was always quick to reach out to help whenever she saw a need – from cooking a meal for someone to spending time in prayer. The peace of the Lord, like a dove resting on her shoulders, remained with her until her last breath. Ms. Harville was foremost a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed. We rejoice for the celebration of life we know through knowing her!

She is survived by her daughter, Carmen Dews; son, Lee E. Harville Jr. and wife, Margaret; son-in-law, Joe Metzger; sister, Vera McMicheal; grandchildren, Brian Reeve, Amy Metzger, Lisa Bass and husband, Andrew, Anna Bunch and husband, Michael and Karen Harville; great-grandchildren, Cameran Reeve, Colin, Alison and Kaitlyn Bass and Landyn Pharr.

The family appreciates everyone’s thoughts and prayers.
