Funeral services for Cathey Jean James was at 10 a.m., Monday, June 1, 2015, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Tommy Ocon officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family received friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Cathey was born October 14, 1951, in Jonesboro and entered into rest May 28, 2015, in Shreveport.
She is survived by her husband, Howard James of Minden; sons, Tommy D. James of Minden, Donnie James of Waldo, Arkansas; daughter, Pamela James of Minden; sisters, Barbara Price of Saline, Cherylone Hood of Saline; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
