Chamber announces finalists for annual awards gala

The Greater Minden Chamber has announced the top three finalists in each category for its 84th Annual Awards Gala, set for Tuesday, March 24, at the Minden Civic Center.

The annual event, themed “Together We Build. Together We Thrive.,” recognizes businesses, leaders and organizations that contribute to the growth and success of the Greater Minden community. The gala is one of the chamber’s largest and most anticipated events, bringing together business owners, community leaders, and partners for an evening of recognition and networking.

Finalists for Business of the Year are A.J. Price Tires & Service, Bienville Lumber Company and Town & Country Health & Rehab.

In the Small Business of the Year category, finalists include Gray’s Jewelry, Kyle Towns Services, LLC and The Mosaic Company.

Nominees for Businessperson of the Year are Debbie Callender, John Carruth and Daniel Speer.

Finalists for Community Partner of the Year are The Broken Bean at Minden, Possibilities Antiques & Collectibles / Evergreen Life Services and Phillip’s Cottage.

In addition to the chamber’s business awards, the Man of the Year Award will be presented by the Lions Club, and Woman of the Year Award will be presented by the Young Women’s Service Club..

Chamber officials said the theme reflects the collaborative spirit of the community and highlights the partnerships that continue to move Greater Minden forward.
