The Minden-South Webster Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its 2016 Chamber Awards.
Chamber President Stephanie Barnette said the nominee must be a Minden South-Webster Chamber member in good standing. They should also illustrate a strong commitment to our community, as well exemplary customer service and/or contributions to our economy through revenue and creation of jobs.
“It could be someone who has done something in particular this year that bettered south Webster Parish or someone who has consistently done something throughout the years and hasn’t been recognized for it,” she said. “We hope we get a lot of nominees to choose from.”
Awards include 2016 Small Business of the Year, Business of the Year, Business Person of the Year, Community Partner of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award.
Nominations are being accepted on the chamber’s website, www.mindenchamber.com until 5 p.m. Dec. 30.
The winners will be selected by the awards committee and announced at the annual Chamber Banquet set for Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 at the Minden Civic Center.
