Charles Kennon copyCharles Kennon was born June 24, 1943 in Sibley to the late J.T. Price and Mary Kennon Cotton.

He departed this earthly life on June 17 in Winnfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his two sisters, Pamela K. Cotton and Mae Catherine Walker.

Charles Kennon leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Donna Kennon of Minden; two sons, Tracy Kennon (Barbara) of Heflin and Travis Moore; five grandchildren, DeCarlos Kennon of Cedar Hills, Texas, Shontee Webb of Minden, Victoria Kennon-Webb of Homer, Curtis Webb Jr. of Minden and Traci Kennon of Minden; seven great-grandchildren; nephews, Jimmy Kennon, Victor Walker and Jerome Walker; and niece, Jackie Walker; and a host other relatives and friends.

Memorial service for Charles Kennon will be at 6 p.m., Wednesday, June 24 in the chapel of Kennon’s Mortuary with the Rev. James Smith officiating
