The City of Minden, through a partnership with Atlas Community Studios, will be developing a strategic economic development plan for the city. A visioning session will be held where citizens can voice their input on how they envision Minden’s future.
The in-person portion of the vision session will be taking place at Minden City Hall in the Pelican conference room at three different times: Tuesday, September 26 at 10 AM; Tuesday, September 26 at 5 PM; and Wednesday, September 27 at 8:30 AM.
“Your input is invaluable in shaping the path ahead for Minden. We encourage everyone to attend one of the three meeting times that work best for them and share their ideas with us,” said Mayor Nick Cox.
“Councilman Andy Pendergrass and Councilman Buddy Myles have worked really hard with me on this. They have been key players and have invested a lot of time.
“This comprehensive process is expected to span over a year. We have experts flying in from various parts of the country to conduct these meetings. We are thrilled to invite all Minden residents and business owners to join us and contribute to the future planning of our city.
