Columbus Day is Monday October 8. Several offices and public services will be closed or suspended for the day including some local banks and postal service. Webster Parish Schools will be open as well as City Hall, the Office of Motor Vehicles, the Webster Parish Library, and the Clerk of Court. The Minden Press-Herald will also be open.
