Members of First Methodist Church Minden and visitors from across the community gathered Sunday, May 17, for Worship in the Park at Academy Park.
The outdoor service began at 10:45 AM and featured worship music, fellowship, food, and refreshments. Organizers invited the public to attend and encouraged families and friends to join the community gathering.
Attendees were greeted with pleasant weather as the service took place in the park on what many described as a beautiful morning for outdoor worship. A large crowd of church members and visitors attended the event.
The service included singing and worship music, with many in attendance appearing to enjoy the experience and fellowship opportunity.
Food and refreshments were provided following the service as attendees spent time visiting with one another in the park.
