Cotton Valley mayor-elect takes oath of office

Joseph Alexander was sworn in as Cotton Valley’s mayor Friday evening with a small service and ceremony at Mt. Sariah Baptist Church. The Cotton Valley Community Choir as well as solo singers performed during the ceremony. Pastors, officials and community members attended the service. Deputy Clerk Felicia Jackson conducted the swearing in.
