The Webster Parish Council on Aging is inviting veterans from across Webster Parish to attend its monthly Veterans Meet and Greet Coffee on Tuesday, July 21.
The gathering will be held from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Council on Aging and is designed to provide veterans with an opportunity to connect with one another while learning about services available in the community.
Members of the Webster Parish Veterans Safety Net Coalition will be on hand to share information about resources available to veterans. Also attending will be Hilton Wells, founder and VA-CEPC.
The monthly coffee meetings are part of an ongoing effort by the Council on Aging and the Veterans Safety Net Coalition to provide a welcoming environment where veterans can build friendships, receive support, and learn about programs and services available to them.
