An undercover narcotics operation led to the arrest of a Minden man while he was incarcerated on other offenses.

Minden Police Captains Dan Weaver and Marvin Garrett went to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center Monday, April 18, and served a warrant on Deldric A. Jackson, aka “Z-Rabb,” 44, of the 400 block of Joel Street. The warrant was for distribution of Schedule II CDS (crack cocaine), Minden Police Chief Steve Cropper said. Bond was set at $100,000 on this warrant.

“He’d been picked up by the sheriff’s office,” he said. “We went out to BDCC and served this warrant on Jackson.”

The chief says he remains incarcerated at BDCC.
