Spencer Creech recently earned the Cub Scout Nova STEM badge for completing in-depth research in science, technology, engineering and math.
He spent five months compiling a research binder that documented 20 Nova Handbook projects, seven Wolf Scout Elective Adventures and visits to SciPort, KASO Radio, the Norton Art Gallery botanical gardens and beehives, the Ark-La-Tex Gem and Mineral Show, the bridge construction at Ada-Taylor and several places in Biloxi that were restored after Hurrican Katrina.
Creech is a member of Cub Scout Pack 35 in Minden. He is the son of Donna Sutton and Steve Creech.
