Carter
“Ray” was born June 30, 1971 to Martha and K. Arthur Carter. He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at Mt. Calm Baptist Church where he remained until his health failed.
In 1997, “Ray” united in marriage to Derravia D. Cary and to this union two children were born whom he loved with all his heart.
On July 3, 2016 Ray earned his wings and transitioned to his heavenly home. Leaving to cherish his memories, laughter and love, his wife Derravia, the son he thought the world of Curtis Jr. “Man,” and two daughters Railyn A’Von and Crystal. His mother and father Martha and K. Arthur, sisters Cassandra and Kimberly and two brothers Robert and Reggie, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. To have known him was to have loved him.
