Funeral services for Donald Glenn McCullough will be held Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, at 2 p.m., at First United Methodist in Minden with visitation from 1 until 2 p.m. also at First United Methodist.

Officiating will be the Rev. William Peeples and the Rev. Brian Mercer.

Donald was born Aug. 28, 1938 in Port Arthur, Texas. He entered into rest Jan. 21, 2017 in Minden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brodie and Estella McCullough.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Etta Jo New McCullough; sons, Steve McCullough of Longview, Texas and Scott McCullough and wife, Melanie of Minden; sister, Gale Steward of Anahuac, Texas; grandchildren, Nicholas McCullough and Madison McCullough of Minden, Kassidy McCullough of Longview and Willian Bossert of Twin Falls, Idaho; great-grandchildren, Amillia Bossert and Lincoln Bossert of Twin Falls.

Don graduated from Sulphur High School in Sulphur. He received his college degree in accounting from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. Additionally, he was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

The family would like to thank Regional Hospice, Town and Country Nursing Care, Dr. Ray Spurlock, Dr. James Lusk, friends and longtime dear friend, Frances Irving, for their love and care.

Pallbearers are David Danton, B.J. Gorman, David Hale, Judson Hale, Chris McCrary, Jim Preston, Kyle Robertson and Mark Woodard.

Honorary pallbearers are John Earnhardt, Dr. Robert Kemmerly, Herman LeJeune, Bo McGuire, Bobby Mourad, Wayne Orr, J.B. Reese Jr. and Fred Berry.

Interment will follow at Mt. Mariah Cemetery in Arcadia.
