Dorcheat Museum to host annual fundraiser gala

by Minden Press-Herald

The Dorcheat Historical Association and Museum, Inc. will host its annual fundraiser gala at the museum, located at 116 Pearl Street, on Monday, September 9th at 6:00 pm. As a nonprofit organization, the museum relies heavily on the financial support of the community. This event is vital to the operation of the museum and is its largest source of income.

This year’s gala will once again feature a live cake auction conducted by “Dr. Feelgood” Richard Campbell and “TLC Picker” Tracy Campbell. Donated cakes will be on the auction block all night long. So come for some fun and bring your sweet tooth and pocketbook. Cost is $25 per person in advance or $30 at the door. Refreshments will feature recipes from museum cookbooks. Dress will be casual. Everyone is invited to attend.

All attendees are encouraged to bring a cake and bring a friend to support the museum. Tickets can be purchased at the museum, by mailing a check to P. O. Box 1094, Minden, LA 71058, or at the following link https://www.dorcheatmuseum.com/product-page/gala-ticket-payment-2023

For those unable to attend but interested in supporting the museum, donations are always welcome and appreciated. Donations can be made via PayPal or credit card at the following link. www.paypal.com/donate?token=8qrBI52OKbDoiU3lmuG4nanyFyyCXrPm_jrO_iq1nK1AJMzQX8_iYXh0SmhZM9O4nkqzvYAAgaVH_d3U
