On Nov. 11, Veterans Day was celebrated at E. S. Richardson Elementary School.

The Honor Guard presented the flags. Veterans were entertained by the Roadrunner Choir, which made their debut. The choir sung several patriotic songs for the Veterans and parents in the audience.

Veterans and special guests were served a lunch of cheesy potato soup, Sub-way sandwiches, and cake as a way of saying thank you. Richardson’s fifth grade Character Counts group served as hostesses and servers for the day.
