The Shunammite woman and her husband provide Elisha with a place to stay every time he came by. The woman had no children. Elisha told her she would conceive and have a son.
It happened just as Elisha said. After the child was about ten years old, he got sick and died. They went to get Elisha and he prayed for him and God returned his life.
The King asked about the miracles that Elisha had done. The woman and her young son walked up and the king was told that this was the boy Elisha had restored to life.
