Funeral services for Evelyn B. Walker will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Dr. Randy Hales and Rev. Matt Cate officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Evelyn was born March 2, 1925 in Haynesville, Louisiana and entered into rest June 9, 2018 in Minden, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Walker.
She is survived by her son, William D. “Billy” Walker, Jr. of Doyline; daughters, Ginger Sikes and husband Dillard of Minden and Bonnie Matson and husband Lloyd of Tennessee; brother, Joe Baird and wife Edmee’ of Texas; brother-in-law, James Pepper of Shreveport; eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and ten great great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rickie Williams, Mike Williams, Jason Paul Williams, Jared Walker, Daniel Walker, and John Pepper.
