Tidwell
Graveside services for Evelyn Tidwell will be held Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Holly Springs Cemetery near Minden under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with the Rev. Tommy Parham officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Evelyn was born May 13, 1925 in Logansport and entered into rest Aug. 17, 2016 in Minden. Evelyn was a retired clerk and greeter known as Ms. T. at Wal-mart and a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oscar L. Tidwell and son Leland Tidwell.
She is survived by her daughters Shelia Tidwell Walker and husband David E. of Dubberly, Peggy J. Tidwell of Minden, and Nancy Tidwell Parham and husband Tommy of Minden, brother Joe Sayers of Mansfield, grandchildren Laura Lee Gresham and husband Michael of San Antonio, Texas and Christopher D. Walker and wife Dawn of Dubberly, four great-grandchildren and her beloved cats, Sassy and Mikey.
