Every day is a new day

Everyday is a new day! How you choose to spend that day is all on you. Are you trying to just survive in life or are you living your life to the fullest? Do you blame everyone else for all that is and has gone on with you.

More than to years ago, I had the privilege to start a new adventure. To link arms with an amazing company and amazing people.  It helped me really see who I am and what I want in life. I never knew how to dream until they asked me the right questions and gave me permission to do so.

They are always having zooms, conventions and gatherings to better each one of us.  They speak life in you all the time. It is not a competition with them. We are in it together. We are a team!

I get to go at my own pace. They not only help me with what I’m doing they encourage me to go after more. Who does that? Don’t settle.

I didn’t know what I didn’t know. No one’s fault but my own. I now know that the people that are at the top didn’t just get there. They put in the work and they worked hard. They didn’t blame anyone when something went wrong. They took responsibility for their own business and action and pushed through. They did their own push-ups!

Failure isn’t a sign of weakness or that we need to quit. I am learning that if something doesn’t work the way you thought it should, you pivot.

This year has been a strange year to say the least.  I could have just quit what I was doing and not even try. I am also being taught, “The obstacle is the way.”  What does that mean? When you are in the will of God and doing what you know to do, you will have obstacles get in your way. Some will be good and some will be not so good. You don’t stop! You just pivot!

Get up a half and hour early and decide how you day is going to go. Set out on Monday what your week will look like. How about you chase your day instead of your day chasing you? Think about that. I am not saying you won’t have emergencies or things happen where you have to pivot but start fresh and make it work.

Control your thoughts and your self talk.  Garbage in garbage out! I am going after some big goals and big dreams. The only one standing in my way is me! Watch out “me”, because I am coming for you! I am becoming a growth seeker instead of a comfort seeker.

I am partnering up with my future self and I am getting what I see coming! I am excited to see what is to come!
