From festivals and parades to markets and concerts, Webster Parish has packed its fall calendar with events celebrating hometown spirit and seasonal traditions.
“Fall in Webster Parish just feels magical — cooler air, friendly faces, and something fun around every corner,” said Amie Poladian, executive director of Visit Webster Parish Tourism. “We love showing off our hometown spirit, from paddling Bayou Dorcheat and dancing at Bites & Beats to cheering on parades and popping into markets and festivals. Whether you’ve lived here forever or you’re visiting for the first time, we can’t wait to welcome you to the party.”
October’s lineup includes the Springhill Farmers Market and a No Till Farming Workshop on October 4, followed by Bayou Pots, the Lumberjack Festival with parade and car show, and the Piney Woods Jamboree on October 11.
Other highlights include Night at the Museum with Brad Dison on October 13, a Community Wide Bingo Night and National Night Out on October 14, and Bites & Beats on October 16. The B.Y.O.L.C. Community Event featuring Big Yeet takes place October 17, coinciding with the Highway 80 Sale running October 17–19.
Outdoor activities and fundraisers round out the month with a Fall Paddle on Bayou Dorcheat, the Angel Baby 2K Fun Run and Fundraiser, and the Minden Foundation Shoot Out, all scheduled for October 18. Family and seasonal favorites follow with Hogwarts Trunk or Treat at Minden Library on October 23, the Witches Ride of Minden and Haunted Hotel Homicide murder mystery on October 25, and another Hogwarts Trunk or Treat at Springhill Library on October 30.
In November, Main to Main Trade Days, the Minden Makers Fair, and the Miss Louisiana Volunteer Pageant are slated.
