First Baptist Church Minden is launching a new ministry for individuals with special needs and will host a VIP Field Day to mark its beginning.
The event will take place Saturday, August 23, from 9 AM to 12 noon at the church’s Family Life Center, located at 301 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Organizers said the mission of the VIP Ministry is “to demonstrate the true love of Jesus to children, students, and adults with special needs,” while also supporting their family members through care and community.
The kickoff event will feature games, activities, snacks, and fellowship. All individuals with special needs are invited to attend.
