First Baptist Church breaks ground on upcoming renovations

First Baptist Church broke ground on their upcoming renovations Sunday. Pastor Leland Crawford said the work is to start Tuesday and will focus on interior areas on the church. He says the preschool and youth areas will be redone along with some adult areas. New seating will be placed in the sanctuary to allow more seating, he said, and enlarging the choir area to better accommodate services. Work is being done by Lincoln Builders.
