Denise Flournoy, Meadowview Nursing Home, is scheduled to be the Minden Lion’s Club speaker on Thursday, October 18, 2018. Mrs. Flournoy was born October 25 1983. “I am a proud native of Minden and a 2002 graduate of Minden High”, Flournoy stated. Mrs. Flournoy is married to Damion Flournoy also a Minden native and together they have three daughters: Breyana age13, Charli age11 and Denver age 6. Mrs. Flournoy and her family attend Living Word Worship Center of Minden.
Mrs. Flournoy holds an Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration from American School of Business in Shreveport. She has been employed by Meadowview Health and Rehabilitation for five years and says that she is looking forward to many more great years and a life-time career with “my Meadowview family”. Mrs. Flournoy is very active in the community. In 2018, Mrs. Flournoy was selected as one of the “15 under 40” award recipients. Mrs. Flournoy said “I enjoy working for Meadowview because assisting those in our community who are in need is my passion and working for Meadowview provides me with the opportunity to actively support and serve this wonderful community in which I live.”
