Former Minden High and Louisiana Tech star L’Jarius Sneed is now a two-time Super Bowl champion.

Sneed’s Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime in Super Bowl XLIII Sunday night at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Sneed, a cornerback, was credited with two solo and three total tackles along with one pass defended.

The Chiefs sent the game into overtime tied at 19 on a 29-yard field goal by Harrison Butker with 3 seconds left in regulation.
