Fourth suspect arrested in Dubberly bonfire shooting investigation

A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with the January 11 shooting at a bonfire party near Dubberly that injured six people.

Jaiveon Daijariell Harris, 20, of the 300 block of W. Todd Street in Minden, was taken into custody the morning of Friday, January 17, after interviews with detectives at the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office, stated Sheriff Jason Parker.

“Under questioning, he admitted he was in possession of a firearm at the party,” Parker said.

Harris has been charged with principal to five counts of attempted first-degree murder. He is being held at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center on a $350,000 bond.

Kobe Sheppard, 21, of Sibley, became the third suspect arrested in the case when authorities detained him Wednesday at his residence on Willis Road. Sheppard faces six counts of attempted first-degree murder and is being held on a $900,000 bond.

Earlier this week, Jacolby Tyrone Snell, 22, of Doyline, was taken into custody and charged with accessory after the fact and two counts of modifying a firearm to a machine gun. During a search of Snell’s residence, investigators recovered two Glock pistols converted into fully automatic weapons. Snell’s bond is set at $120,000.

Zyan Adominick-Jaire Stanley, 23, of Minden, surrendered to authorities. He was also charged with six counts of attempted first-degree murder and is being held on a $900,000 bond.

The investigation remains ongoing.

“We will continue gathering information until we’re satisfied we have everyone in custody who had a part in this incident,” Parker said. “Our detectives and deputies have done a great job so far, and we’re not finished.”

All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
