MINDEN 56, BOSSIER 6
The Tide took care of business by spoiling Bossier’s homecoming Friday night. Minden will most likely need a win against North DeSoto next week to get into the playoffs.
Minden posted a season-high 521 yards of total offense, led by running back Lieric Robinson’s 110 yards on six carries.
Seth Johnson opened the game with a 21-yard touchdown run on a reverse. Jacareon Lathan scored the next three touchdowns to put the Tide up 28-0 after one quarter.
Robinson scored on a 37-yard pass from Trent McLaughlin to open the second quarter.
A.J. Lister had an interception for Minden as well. The Tide improve to 3-6 as they picked up their third district win of the season.
NORTH WEBSTER 37, GREEN OAKS 35
The Knights will have at least a share of the district title as they held on to beat Green Oaks Friday night in Springhill.
The Giants staged a late comeback, but North Webster held on for victory after a wild game.
Tyrell Markray threw two touchdowns and Scottie Johnson scored on two more to put North Webster over the top.
The two-point difference in the game came down to a safety earned early in second half by the Knights. L.T. Grigsby was credited with the safety.
North Webster (5-4) plays Loyola next week.
LAKESIDE 54, D’ARBONNE WOODS 14
The Warriors jumped out to a 30-point lead in the first quarter en route to a big district win. Jacquez Lott scored five touchdowns on the night. Kataurio Grigsby returned an interception for a touchdown as well.
The Warriors will face Mansfield next week as they jostle for playoff positioning.
ST. JOSEPH 52, GLENBROOK 7
Glenbrook has been ousted from the playoffs after making the postseason for the first time in three years.
