Week four has arrived in the LHSAA with the Minden Crimson Tide, Lakeside Warriors and North Webster Knights all playing at home.
The Glenbrook Apaches are in week six of their MAIS schedule, and will be on the road in a pivotal district game.
Let’s take a quick look at each team’s matchup.
Minden Crimson Tide
The Minden Crimson Tide will face off with district foe Fair Park to start their district slate. The Crimson Tide are 2-1 following a 27-20 win over North Webster and Fair Park brings a 2-1 record into The Pit as well. Fans and students alike will be out at The Pit early to tailgate for the big game. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
Glenbrook Apaches
The Glenbrook Apaches will load up the bus bound for Monroe and a matchup with the River Oaks Mustangs. The game promises to be a physical battle between two schools with a storied rivalry. Glenbrook badly needs to win to have a shot at the playoffs. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
Lakeside Warriors
The Lakeside Warriors are off to a slow start in 2015, and things don’t get easier this week with Ouachita Christian School coming to town.
The Eagles have played for several state championships in recent years and currently sit at No. 3 in the Louisiana Sports Writers Association poll for Class 2A.
The Warriors will be going for the upset in Sibley, starting at 7 p.m.
North Webster
The North Webster Knights came out on the wrong end of a parish battle last week against the Minden Crimson Tide. This week doesn’t get any easier, as Ouachita visits for a 5A vs. 3A showdown.
Ouachita is 1-1 this season and nearly upset the No. 1 team in Class 4A, Neville, last week.
The Knights will take the field at 7 p.m. looking to tame the Lions.
