The Minden-South Webster Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a town hall meeting at Grace Estate next week to get information regarding the last legislative special session and information on the upcoming session in April.
Sen. Ryan Gatti, District 36, will be the guest speaker at the event set for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
Stephanie Barnette, president and CEO of the chamber of commerce, said the event came about because she felt there was a need to have a business town hall meeting where the business community could gather to get an update and what to expect in the coming session. A question and answer session will follow.
The event is free to attend.
Barnette said those who wish to attend should RSVP by calling 377-4240.
“I hope our business community and any interested persons will take the time to come hear from Sen. Gatti ask questions and be a voice for our area on what issues are important to us,” she said.
